It’s Time To Start Making Your Vision Board

In this blog post, Olivia + Laura share the importance of making a vision board before the new year!

A vision board is a visualization tool of your dreams, combining images, words, and affirmations to help manifest your goals. It’s your personalized reminder, a cool collage of what's important to you for the upcoming year.

As the year winds down, consider making a vision board before the new year. It’s a proactive way to set intentions and clarify your goals, adding a touch of excitement to your New Year’s celebrations. Rather than waiting for January 1st, kickstart your aspirations by visualizing your dreams on a vision board. Crafting a vision board now provides a tangible reminder and sets the tone for the coming year, infusing it with purpose and motivation.

So whether you're making a digital or physical one, grab some essentials, and let’s dive into the simple yet impactful process of creating a vision board before the clock strikes midnight!

Define Your Goals

Start by clarifying your goals and aspirations. What do you want to achieve in different aspects of your life, such as career, relationships, health, and personal growth? Be specific and write down your goals before moving on to the visual representation.

Refer back to our previous post on vision boards to get some ideas on goals you might want to achieve in 2024!

Select Images that Reflect your Goals

Flip through magazines and cut out images and words that resonate with your goals. These can include pictures of places you want to visit, quotes that inspire you, and symbols that represent success. The more personal and meaningful, the better.

Organize and Arrange

Arrange the images and words in a way that is visually appealing to you. Consider creating sections for different areas of your life, or let it flow organically. The key is to have a clear representation of your goals and dreams.

Add Personal Touches

Enhance your vision board by adding personal touches. Include your own photographs, drawings, or handwritten notes. This makes the vision board uniquely yours and reinforces your emotional connection to your goals.

Place it Strategically

Choose a location where you’ll see your vision board regularly. Personally, I always set it as my laptop or iPad background as I am constantly using either one. The goal is to make it a constant visual reminder of your aspirations.

Reflect and Visualize

Take a moment each day to reflect on your vision board. Close your eyes and visualize yourself achieving the goals on it. Feel the emotions associated with success, and let these positive feelings drive your actions.

Update Regularly

As you achieve goals or your aspirations evolve, update your vision board. It’s a dynamic tool that should grow with you. Removing achieved goals and adding new ones keeps it relevant and maintains your motivation.

Crafting a vision board is a creative and empowering process that can significantly impact your journey toward success. By visually representing your goals and dreams, you’re taking a proactive step towards manifesting the life you desire. Embrace the power of visualization and watch as your vision board becomes a guiding force in shaping your future.

Do not doubt the power of manifestation through visualization, it truly does work.
