Valentine's Day in Montreal

In this blog post, Olivia + Laura share the best ways to spend Valentine's Day with your significant others!

It is officially February and love is in the air! With V Day around the corner, you might want to start planning a romantic day with your partner. It can be hard to find something to do or somewhere to go but we have the perfect list of romantic plans for days, evenings and nights.

Romantic Dinner

What better way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year than enjoying a romantic dinner with the one you love. Olivia + Laura have you covered with their favourite romantic restaurants in the city that will not disappoint.

If you're lucky enough to snag a reservation here, cancel whatever else you had planned. The most sought out restaurant in Montreal will definitely impress on Valentine's Day.

The coziest fine-dining Italian restaurant in Old Montreal. After a warm meal here, head to the Old Port skating rink to continue the night!

Another fine-dining favourite in Old Montreal with cuisine inspiration from Spain and the South of France. Their various Valentine's Day menus are something to check out!

If you're willing to splurge on a luxurious dining experience in a personal bubble, the 5 or 7 course Valentine's menu is perfect for you and your boo.

This restaurant located in Le Mount Stephen is the most elegant and romantic spot to take your date on Valentine's Day. Whether it's for dinner on February 14th or brunch on the weekend, it's sure to impress.

If you're looking for a more low-key and homey restaurant to spend Valentine's Day, Moccione in Villeray neighbourhood is perfect for you! This quaint Italian restaurant has an entire menu that is homemade pasta-focused.

Chez Toi

Plan an elaborate meal to cook for your cozy, intimate at-home date night and an activity. Either a movie night or a fun baking activity — anything that you and your boo enjoy doing together!

Outdoor Activities

Snowshoeing at Mount Royal Park

Grab your snowshoes and explore your area for the day! The Mount Royal Park trail is the perfect romantic excursion for those who want to walk. Don't have any snowshoes, Mount Royal Park offers rental snowshoes & has guided excursions. You might want to consider By the Glow of the City Lights, a two-hour trail with hot chocolate included.

Skating at the Old Port

Skate under the iconic Grande Roue this V-Day! Join the many other couples under the lights of the Old Port of Montreal. Skate & locker rentals are available on site. General admission is 9$!

Indoor Activities

Ceramic Cafe

Spend a few hours in each others company while painting some ceramics. Olivia + Laura's idea is to paint something for each other and exchange them once the ceramics are glazed a few days later!

OASIS Immersion: Van Gogh Edition

Stay indoors the V-Day and immerse yourself into OASIS Immersion, a sensory art show You have to see it for yourself to understand it. Tickets are 32$ for adults but hurry up because the Van Gogh exhibit is available only until March 5.

Relaxing Rendez-Vous

Spa Day

Take some time for some self-love this Valentine's Day and visit the spa. One we highly recommend is the Polar Bear's Club in Quebec's Laurentian's. They are currently offering up to 30% off some of their most popular packages!

Overnight Stay

Make your relaxing day a little longer, or get the party started at night by spending a night in a hotel room. Nothing is more romantic than getting uninterrupted time with your person. A great option is Manoir St. Sauveur which offers spa + room packages!

Thank you all for reading this week's blog post! Hopefully it inspired you to plan something special with your special someone.

We love you!

Xoxo,
