Short & Curly Trendy Hairstyles

In this blog post, Olivia + Laura share hairstyles for girls with short and/or curly hair!

Thank you so much for the support on our hairstyles reel on Instagram! After posting the video, we received so much love and feedback; and the people have spoken! They want more hair inspo! So, of course, we have to give our readers what they want.

Read on to discover ways to style your short and/ or curly hair!

Claw Clip

Although this was in our last hairstyles post, many readers said that they could not style their hair with a claw clip but, they totally can!

If you have short hair, a half-up half-down look will definitely work for you. Also, if you have thicker curly hair, try looking for larger clips with more teeth. Check these colourful ones out from Amazon.

Barettes

This look has been around for a few years now, and we are glad that it is here to stay! When wearing barrettes in your hair, you add spice to your outfit. Not only will they automatically make you cooler, but they will push back the hair from your face on those hotter days.

Bandana

This trend is so much fun because you can wear bandanas in many ways, as displayed in these images. Wear it as a headscarf, tie it around your pony or use it as a headband-- not to sound cheesy, but the possibilities are endless.

Half-Up Half-Down

A half-up half-down hairstyle is the perfect for the days you need to throw your hair up yet still look put together. For girls with shorter hair, it might be harder to put your hair in a bun so try a half bun or half ponytail with some hair to frame your face. For girls with curly hair, the half-up half-down hairstyle is easily attainable and makes your curls look amazing! We suggest giving it a try!

Beachy Waves

We love beach waves on any hair length, it is the perfect go-to hairstyle. For those with shorter hair, these beauty waves may be intimidating due to the length of your hair but we suggest reading through this Cosmo article for some awesome tips & tricks to not burn your fingers.

Flipped Ends

This 90s-inspired hairstyle is making a comeback! A great way to add volume to hair, no matter the length. For an in-depth tutorial to this hairstyle, Delaney Childs has a video on it. A lot of celebrities are jumping on this trend so we are too!

As always, thank you for reading this week's blog post! We hope you enjoyed it and will share it with friends and family.

P.S keep an eye out for our next reel on Instagram. Help us reach 100k views again!

See you all next week

XOXO,
