Since the start of winter, we have been counting down the days till Spring, and it has finally here! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the snow is disappearing along with our winter depression.
Trends come and go like the seasons so we're here to let you know when to save and when to splurge on these fashion trends!
Splurge: Long Denim Skirts
Long denim skirts are the hottest looks for Spring and Summer 2023. We suggest splurging on a denim skirt because they have been on trend for a few years now and we see they staying. Plus, denim always comes back in style so it'll be a great piece to have down the line.
Save: Ruffle Tops
We can't believe we are saying this but ruffles are back and better than ever. This time around, we encourage you to stick to large ruffle blouses with detailing on the neck and shoulder. Steer away from cotton tops with dainty details which is a more dated look.
Splurge: Cargo Pants
Cargo pants are a huge trend, and although we don't see their popularity lasting until next spring, we do think they will be your go-to this season! Also, a good pair of pants can go a long way and the better the material the classier they look.
Save: Lime Green Kits
Green is THE color for spring. First it was sage green, then forrest green and now we've made our way to lime green. With that being said, bright popular colours never make it past their intended season so look for less costly items when shopping this trend. However, we have to admit, it really does scream, summer is here.
Splurge: Straight Leg Denim
The most versatile pair of jeans is a pair of straight-leg denim ones. Now is the chance to add a pair to your closet if you don't already have! Easily dressed up for a night out or dressed down for a casual day. Since they're timeless and we want quality, we are splurging on this denim!
Splurge: Adidas Sambas
It's time to ditch the chunky sneakers, low-top, vintage soccer sneakers are the shoe of the season! They are a more minimal, sporty vibe. We are splurging on these Adidas Sambas after being seen on so many celebs and are likely to be around for some time.
Save: Silver
Anybody who wants to make a statement in spring will love silver styles! It has been featured on everything from shoes to coats to jewellery. Silver pants are one of our personal favourites and are probably the easiest to style. But, even if they are fun right now, these are just a fad.
Save: Sheer Styles
Spring is all about the sheer styles. This style ranges from translucent overlays to see-through shirts with a bra peeking through underneath. While it is the more elevated basic this season, we are saving on this trend.
