O+L's Paris Travel Guide

In this blog post, Olivia + Laura share with you the ultimate Paris guide that will prepare you for your upcoming travels!

If you follow us on Instagram, you will have seen that we we took a trip to Paris! Paris is the city of love, lights, fashion and croissants making it the perfect travel spot for any occasion. After spending five days in this European city, we have curated the perfect itinerary for travellers to explore and fall in love with the city.

Travel Disclaimer: Get your walking shoes ready cause this itinerary includes A LOT of walking. But why wouldn't you want to maximize your time in Paris!

Depending on your wants and personal desires, pick and choose what you want from this Parisian itinerary! That is why we've compiled a list below of all the MUST'S for the city. We did the research so you don't have too (and trust us, we did a lot of research)

What you Need (& we mean it)

Navigo Discover Metro Pass

If you want to see all of Paris buy the Navigo Discover Pass for approximately 31 Euros. With it you will have access to all bus, metro and train lines for a week (Sunday-Saturday). The public transportation in Paris is amazing and you will save so much money on Uber rides.

Traveller's Tip: Don't waste your time buying the Navigo card at the airport!

Almost all metro stations can activate a pass for you-- just come prepared with a tiny picture of yourself to stick on the back. We took our picture at an airport Photo Booth (located at CDG Terminal 2B).

The Paris Pass

If you want to maximize your time in Paris and see everything possible, then get The Paris Pass. Essentially, once purchased, this pass gives you access to most of Paris' landmarks, museums, chateaus and more. With 80+ attractions available on the card you will be able to see all of Paris.

Some of our favourites were the perfume workshop at Fragonard and the Wine Tasting at Les Caves du Louvre.

Almost everything on our itinerary was booked through The Paris Pass.

Walking Shoes

Read the disclaimer! We walked an average of 25k steps a day and Olivia had to bandage her feet after day one. Enough. Said.

Shoes we loved: New Balance 574s - the perfect walking shoe yet still so stylish to match with most outfits!

What to Do

We have assembled a list of things you must do when in Paris. The list goes on beyond these suggestions but they are the perfect way to experience the city.

What to See

These are the places you need to visit and see with your own eyes during your stay in Paris, especially if you are visiting the city for the first time.
